Just a week after Way out West, on August 21, GB will release his second album “Herzsprung”. Written while living in London, the Copenhagen-based songwriter and producer spent weeks cutting up copies of Metro – one of the city’s free newspapers – to form the lyrical foundation of the songs. GB will perform at Folkteatern on Thursday August 13.
In This Dunya are the Gothenburg-based music company behind Dunya Fest, the annual festival taking place every autumn and sharing the same values as Way Out West. Together, we’ve curated a night at Skeppet on Friday August 14 with Rian Brazil and Helen Sun. Don’t miss it!
In addition, the London-based Swedish producer Tiffi M, known for crafting indie leaning alternative/pop music with atmospheric and experimental touches, and the American art pop duo Fantasy of a Broken Heart also joins the lineup. Unfortunately, Tyler Ballgame has had to cancel his upcoming festival run, including his show at Stay Out West.
