Supermodel* is the brainchild of Frankie Beanie, a Virginia-born, Los Angeles-based artist and producer. Raised in suburban Virginia, Frankie spent his early years thrashing in east coast punk bands before moving to Liverpool at 18 to immerse himself in the UK’s indie and dance culture. Now based in LA, his music is the culmination of a life spent absorbing and synthesizing a world of influences: a love of hip-hop, an obsession with the Beastie Boys, and an instinctive feel for raw, playful experimentation.

At its core, Supermodel* is about instinct, irreverence, and breaking his own rules. “don’t try and be cool. steal everything. don’t overthink. always lowercase,” he says of the project’s ethos. “supermodel* has to feel stolen, stupid, instinctive, and raw—like it’s breaking its own logic.” This rejection of pretense defines his sound and visuals, creating a world that feels as bold and unpredictable as it is meticulously crafted.
