If anyone is wondering how Norwegian rock is doing these days, the answer is simple: remarkably well. And few bands capture that momentum better than Hayeminol. Their fourth album “Ingen vår i år”, released earlier this year, has already been hailed by several critics as an early contender for the best Norwegian album of 2026. Rooted in power pop and garage punk but constantly reaching beyond genre boundaries, Hayeminol fold post-punk, psychedelia, noise and even Beach Boys-worthy vocal harmonies into a sound that feels uncompromising, unpredictable, energetic and remarkably precise. Since first emerging in 2019, the band have steadily built a catalogue of increasingly ambitious records, but “Ingen vår i år” marks an important turning point as their first album sung entirely in Norwegian. The shift proves a strikingly natural fit, opening a new dimension in the band’s songwriting while losing none of their restless creative ambition. This summer, Hayeminol bring that explosive energy to Stay Out West.

Hayeminol will perform at Stay Out West on Thursday August 13th
