Way Out West kicks off on Thursday August 13, but if you’re in town the day before there’s plenty to enjoy with your festival ticket. Best of all? Everything is free.
Head to Pustervik for a night showcasing some of the most exciting names on the Swedish indie scene: Hollow Ship, Mud Grief, Dolce, Givana, Michaela Åberg, Hand Audiovisual and Stor Som Lola. The party starts at 19:00, and you actually don’t need a Way Out West wristband to attend. Come as you are!
Over at Liseberg, one of last year’s most sought-after acts, Daniela Rathana, will perform a free show. To enter Liseberg, you’ll first need to exchange your festival ticket for a wristband. Wristband pickup is available at Linnéplatsen between 12:00 and 20:00 on Wednesday.
You can also catch It Pays to Belong, the new feature film about Gothenburg indie legends The Embassy, at Bio Capitol at 19:00. Entry is on a first come, first served basis, and a festival wristband is required.
Only a small number of Thursday tickets remain. Get yours before Way Out West sells out completely – buy yours HERE!
