After a few years off, we are happy to announce that WOW Talks is returning to Way Out West 2026 this summer – this time in collaboration with Storytel. With a program that tackles some of the most pressing social issues of our time, WOW Talks once again becomes a central hub for inspiring conversations and new perspectives, with Messiah Hallberg serving as host of the stage.
Together with Storytel, Way Out West is reintroducing the WOW Talks discussion stage at this year’s festival, marking its highly anticipated return to the program. WOW Talks will take place at the Slottsskogen Theatre near Björngårdsvillan, creating a new gathering spot for festival visitors. The stage will feature discussions and interviews with exciting guests, focusing on current social and cultural issues. WOW Talks will be led by comedian, journalist and TV personality Messiah Hallberg and the first program announcements will be revealed shortly.
The program will revolve around topics such as human rights, the environment and climate, politics, equality, religion and more. The ambition is to create an inspiring space for in-depth conversations and encounters between different perspectives.
In addition to the live discussions on stage, the WOW Talks program will also be available afterward through the Storytel app.
WOW Talks is part of Way Out West, and more announcements about the program will be released shortly.
