Author Tone Schunnesson and Aftonbladet’s Head of Culture Karin Pettersson are the duo behind the hit podcast Café Bambino. Now they’re bringing the show to Way Out West for a live podcast – a freer, wilder and more unpredictable show than ever.

Expect a conversation full of humour and seriousness about culture, the internet and the big ideas. And of course, there’ll be politics and pop culture too, as Tone and Karin come together in Gothenburg.

Karin Pettersson is Head of Culture at Aftonbladet and an author. In 2025, she published the political memoir ”Förbannelsen: Hur Sverige fastnade i 90-talet och förlorade framtiden”. Tone Schunnesson is an author and recently published the
highly anticipated novel ”Ultravåld”.
