Originally from northern Sweden, ORKID draws inspiration from classic vocalists such as Nat King Cole, Kate Bush, and Lykke Li – artists whose influence can be heard in the emotional depth of her songwriting. Released in 2024, her EP ‘Where Flowers Grow’ established ORKID as a striking new voice in Scandinavian pop. Since then, her career has continued to gain momentum. On her latest EP, ‘In All of My Tomorrows’ released last year, she continues the emotional journey that began with her debut while expanding her sonic palette. Building on the atmospheric alt-pop foundations of her earlier work, the record introduces a stronger electronic edge that broadens her sound without sacrificing its intimacy.
