Thaiboy Digital has always occupied a central place in the mythical Drain Gang universe, but since his deportation from Sweden in 2015 the Stockholm-raised artist has largely operated from Bangkok. While all of Drain Gang’s members share a deep affection for rave culture and electronic dance music, no one has allowed that love to shape their music quite as much as Thaiboy Digital. On the acclaimed 2025 album “Paradise”, he embraces the wide-eyed optimism of EDM’s golden era, drawing equally from trance, Eurodance and the emotional maximalism of artists like Basshunter, Tiësto and Avicii. Yet where classic EDM often relied on towering vocal performances and anthemic hooks, Thaiboy brings something entirely different: a slippery, emotionally exposed voice that drifts between hypersensitive singing, melancholic yearning and dreamlike rap. In an era where electronic music is once again looking toward its past for inspiration, few artists sound as committed to pushing it somewhere new. This summer, Thaiboy Digital brings that vision to Stay Out West.

Thaiboy Digital will perform at Stay Out West on Thursday August 13th
