There’s something almost telepathic about a DJ duo built on shared DNA, an internal dialogue that never quite needs to be spoken. S-candalo, siblings Tania and Dominik Humeres-Correa, operate within that space. Raised in Germany with Latin American roots, their sets feel less like careful curation and more like a continuous act of blending sounds, references, sensibilities. What emerges is both deliberate and impulsive, a deep respect for old-school foundations colliding with something more excessive, more unruly. Their sound is maximalist, playful, and unapologetically bold, with big chords, bigger basslines, and seductive vocals looping into polyrhythmic intensity. Across recent mixes for platforms like Boiler Room, Fact Magazine and Rinse FM, genres dissolve into each other with a kind of restless momentum, charged with queer energy and a sense of theatricality. It’s club music that refuses to behave. At Dungen Stage this summer, that impulse arrives in full — expect heat, movement, and a dancefloor that never settles.

S-candalo will perform at Dungen Stage on Saturday August 15th.
