More than a remarkable DJ and producer, Ash Lauryn is a cultural force. One committed to exploring, amplifying, and celebrating the Black American roots of house and techno. It’s a calling that extends far beyond the booth, present not only in her sets and productions but also in her platform Underground & Black, which has grown from a blog into a radio show and community space rooted in storytelling and representation.

Her discography reflects that same sense of purpose. On the 2025 release “North Atlantic” EP, she weaves together Detroit house traditions with spoken word, creating something both reflective and deeply physical. Since her debut in 2016, Ash Lauryn has carried this vision across continents, building a reputation for sets that are as grounded in history as they are alive in the moment. At Dungen Stage this summer, that mission continues — an invitation to remain rooted in rhythm and truth, even as the dancefloor moves forward.
