WAY OUT WEST 2025 IS OVER – THANK YOU FOR THIS YEAR!

This year marked the seventeenth time Way Out West lit up Slottsskogen – and it just might have been our best edition yet. With unforgettable headline sets from Charli XCX, Kite, and the just-wrapped performance from Chappell Roan (!!!), Flamingo was bursting with energy. The same can be said about the acts on many of other stages as well – Mk.gee, CMAT, Yung Lean & Bladee, Annie & The Caldwells, Cormac and many more delivered sets that will stay with us for a long time.

This year 78,000 unique visitors came to Slottsskogen, setting a brand-new attendance record for the festival. This makes it the fourth year in a row we’ve broken that record – proof that even after so many years, Way Out West still keeps growing and evolving.

It’s hard to sum up this year’s festival without mentioning the overall feeling of solidarity – something that were more present than ever at Way Out West, both on and off stage. While we have enjoyed these past couple of days in Slottsskogen, another reality is unfolding on the other side of the world, which inevitably left its mark on this year’s edition. In times of injustice, the power of cultural expression and freedom of speech is needed more than ever, and we are proud to have been a platform for the global movement of solidarity for the people suffering, in Palestine and elsewhere.

Looking ahead, we’re thrilled to share some good news – Way Out West returns to Slottsskogen from August 13–15, 2026. A limited number of Blind Bird tickets are already available now HERE.

But first – let’s close this year’s festival in style at Stay Out West. See you around town!
