It’s with great sadness we have to announce that Way Out West 2021 is cancelled. Nothing would have made us more excited than being able to put on a festival in Gothenburg in August for you all, but the developments during the spring has made it clear that it just won’t be possible.
But this is not a day just for sorrow. Way Out West returns to Slottsskogen Aug 11-13 2022, stronger than ever before. Tickets will go on sale on May 25th 2021, with the first batch of artists being announced in just a few weeks. Don’t snooze on this one – we expect that there won’t be a huge amount of tickets available for 2022, as many fans will want to roll their tickets over, so make sure to plan ahead and buy your ticket straight away.
A huge thank you to all ticket buyers and fans who have been incredibly patient during this period. We have said it before and will say it again – your support means the world to us.
All purchased tickets will remain valid for 2022, and current ticket buyers will be contacted via email by our ticketing partner Ticketmaster before the end of May with more information. If you wish, you will also have the possibility to receive a refund – more information about that can be found in said email. There’s no need to contact Ticketmaster before the e-mail has been sent out.
Stay safe, and look out for the first artist announcement for 2022. You do not want to miss it.
