There was a time when it seemed uncertain whether there would be more music from Melody’s Echo Chamber. Following a life-threatening accident in 2017 and the years of recovery that followed, French artist Melody Prochet stepped away from the spotlight, leaving the future of her singular project unclear. What has emerged since is not merely a return, but a quiet transformation — a body of work shaped by clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose. In 2025, that journey culminated in her fifth album, “Unclouded”, a luminous and weightless record inspired by Hayao Miyazaki’s notion of seeing the world with eyes free from hatred. Airy yet precise, the album refines her signature blend of psychedelic pop, dreamlike landscapes, and psych-soul grooves, favoring transparency over haze and serenity over distortion. Created in collaboration with artists including Dungen, Sven Wunder, and members of Dina Ögon, it reveals a sound both grounded and otherworldly, where vulnerability meets confidence. At Stay Out West this summer, Melody’s Echo Chamber returns to the stage with a performance as immersive as it is transportive — a radiant reaffirmation of an artist exactly where she belongs.

Melody’s Echo Chamber will perform at Stay Out West on Friday August 14th.
