When established artists come together to create music, there is a tendency for the result to not reach the same level as when each artist releases their own work – but in the collaboration between Annika Norlin and Jonas Teglund, this is anything but the case. Their collaborative debut album “En tid att riva sönder” was released the other week and was received with great enthusiasm. The meeting between Annika’s rich narratives and Jonas’s careful, detailed arrangements can be described as almost telepathic, where their respective strengths intertwine and create a world as complex as it is hopeful. Or as they themselves say: “The album was made during the very bad year of 2023 and therefore we have sought a lightness, a light, and a comfort.” This summer the duo is out on an extensive tour which eventually will lead them to Slottsskogen and Way Out West!
