Filmmakers Stefan Jarl and Lukas Moodysson co-wrote an article criticising the harsh sentences handed down after the Gothenburg riots of summer 2001. But the events gave them no peace, and they decided to find out who these young people actually were. What drives them, and how do they see the world? How did they experience what happened and the dramatic aftermath of police, detention and convictions? Do they dare believe in the future? Jarl and Moodysson met some of the demonstrators, and these interviews resulted in the documentary “Terrorists — A Film About the Convicted”.

Now, 25 years has passed. We screen the film with a discussion afterwards with one of the main characters of the film, the convicted activist “Jonathan”.
