GABEL/OSSLER released their self-titled debut album last September, an album of cinematic dark instrumental music. To mark the occasion, an album listening event was held at Bio Aspen in Stockholm, where filmmaker Göran Hugo Olsson was invited to create visuals for the tracks. This evolved into something on the border between album listening, film screening and concert, where Gabel and Ossler performed live alongside the film images and music. It became such a powerful and singular experience that it felt like a shame it wasn’t performed in more places — but now a unique opportunity has emerged. On the final night of Way Out West, GABEL/OSSLER will perform the album in its entirety at Bio Capitol with Göran Hugo Olsson’s films projected on the cinema screen.
