The response was incredible, and just one week after ticket sales opened, all of our Early Bird tickets were sold out. Today, we’re more than excited to add two more names to the lineup for next year – Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds [AUS] and Lorde [NZ]. Tickets are on sale now!
Anyone that ever witnessed a show with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds knows that it’s a potentially life-altering experience. Less a concert than a ritual, Nick Cave invites participation as he converts sorrow into exaltation. With The Bad Seeds at his side, he turns the stage into a place of deep intimacy. A gathering where despair and beauty collide, where songs become prayers and the audience becomes his congregation. This summer, that communion will come alive at Way Out West!
Lorde belongs to that exclusive group of artists who have radically reshaped contemporary music – something she’s done by giving the finger to both expectations and clichés. In June she released her fourth full-length project ‘Virgin’ which she will take to Sweden for a sold-out show at Stockholm’s Annexet in December. Next summer, she’ll make her Gothenburg debut at Way Out West!
