Why do so many feel so bad when everything seems so good? At the psychiatric clinic Care, profit trumps well-being, and more diagnoses mean higher rewards. Psychology student Johannes quickly realizes he doesn’t fit in at his internship — but soon meets the patients: Rose, who suffers from intimate pain; Markus, a real estate agent who cries at viewings; Emily, undergoing ADHD assessment; and Rakel, a performance artist channeling her personal injustices through dance. Together they form an unlikely group — The Dance Club — exploring whether there might be other remedies than pills and labels to ease the pain simmering beneath the surface.
