Co-founder of the club Bangers & Mash and co-runner of Big Bauta Sound, JoolZ has a long history of working as a curator behind the scenes. She devoted extensive years in Paris as a part of the collective Bass Paradize, organising events solely focused on the UK sounds of dubstep and grime. The countless nights spent in different venues all over Europe over the past decade has expanded and fused her sound into a mix of sub-focused club music filled with murky basslines and well-founded rhythms. Her sets are a true reflection of herself, multi-layered and hard to pin down. JoolZ keeps a steady stance with one foot in the past and one foot in the contemporary, cherry picking the essence of old and new while blending it into a dark and swinging intermixture.
