Last year, Erik Lundin released his long-awaited album “Alla va nån innan dom blev nån”, his first full-length record in five years. The album is a deeply personal work centered around death, loss, and self-reflection, while also weaving in a heavy portrayal of contemporary society and a musical playfulness that feels new in his career. After releasing the EPs “Suedi” and “Välkommen hem” as well as his debut album “Zebrapojken”, Erik believed he had finished telling his story about his background. But life took a turn—most notably, the loss of his father during the pandemic—which forced him to reexamine his narratives.
