Good plus good doesn’t necessarily equate great, but when it comes to the collaborative duo Talaboman, that calculation is unquestionably true. And when the duo that consists of Stockholm’s Alex Boman and Barcelona’s John Talabot, both well-respected deep house producers, join forces, something new materializes. Their common love for disco is apparent, but Talaboman’s aim is not primarily the dancefloor. The music is meditative, spiritual, dubby, emotional and is described by themselves as an attempt to document their dreams. Talaboman was first heard on Talabot’s contribution to ‘DJ Kicks’ in 2013 where the track ‘Sideral’ was included.
