Oskar Linnros will do his only show of the summer at Way Out West!

Constantly drawn to new roles and challenges, Oskar Linnros hasn’t always had time to be on stage, but that doesn’t change the fact that he is one of the most influential Swedish artists of the past decades. A position he immediately conquered with his groundbreaking debut album ‘Vilja bli’ from 2010. An album whose fusion of soulful pop music and confessional lyrics has become an instruction manual for an entire generation of Swedish pop musicians. Since then, two more albums have been added to his catalog – ‘Klappar och slag’ and ‘Väntar på en ängel’ – both of which have found an entirely new audience over time.

Seven years have passed since he last released an album, and during that time, Linnros has both founded his own label, Dundra, and acted as a mentor to one of the recent big Swedish breakthroughs, Daniela Rathana. Tonight, he performed a brand new song at Grammis, and this fall he will release his eagerly awaited fourth album. On Friday, August 9th, Oskar Linnros will play his only show this summer at Way Out West, where he will perform selected parts from his multifaceted catalog mixed with brand new material.

Ser fram emot fredag 9 augusti och Way Out Wests episka Flamingo-scen.

Puss

/Oskar Linnros”
