There are still bands around, but very few that are as praiseworthy as US four-piece Big Thief. United by a seemingly telepathic connection the US four-piece searchingly, organically – sometimes even slackly – explores the very deepest possibilities of being in a group together with your closest friends. When asked how they do it, singer and guitarist Adrienne Lenker simply answered “magic”.  And the fans agree. Their success story is as unlikely as it is reassuring and today Big Thief is one of the most beloved and prolific bands of our time.

Last year the band two new songs and once again they managed to exceed every expectation. The songwriting was, as always, passionate, personal, intelligent and the communication characteristically intuitive but the music was even more cosmic. Even more sensitive, boundless and passionate. We are proud to welcome the era-defining Big Thief to Way Out West!
