Little Jinder is a new kind of pop star, not afraid to tell the truth – both on and off stage. With honesty first, Josefine Jinder has taken the Swedish pop music to a new level, and today she’s the pop voice of our emoji-generation. Her expression is ever so unique, and through her catchy melodies and innovative sound she tells a story that’s both personal and universal. Jinder recently released the song ”Hålla handen” together with Lykke Li – a textbook case of how Swedish pop could and should sound. With more releases coming up during 2018 we are happy to announce the only Little Jinder show this summer in Slottsskogen at Way Out West.
Only 20 years old, Josefine Jinder signed a deal with a record label across the Atlantic, and a bright future was at her fortune. The big break through failed to appear, or to use the correct term: was postponed, only to later hit with a bang back home in Sweden. With her self titled debut album in Swedish Little Jinder had both critics and fans in her hands. Her honest and self-revealing lyrics, much like Little Jinder herself, was just in time. She was the pop star that the world did not know that it needed and the album won prizes at the P3 Guld gala and Swedish grammy awards for Pop of the year. With he following album Allting suger (2016) Jinder made another strong case for being one of Swedens most interesting artists. During the fall of 2016 she participated in Swedish television show Så mycket bättre and received smashing reviews for her original covers. Later that year she hosted Musikhjälpen in Sveriges Radio. In the summer of 2017 she released another triumph of a single – Amy.
Little Jinder will perform in Slottsskogen on Saturday August 11. Get tickets for one or three days here!
