Actor and artist Hampus Nessvold have been busy all spring – putting up his critically acclaimed show ”Ta det som en man”, directed by Mia Skäringer. The show has been sold out around the country, touching everyone who has come out to watch it. ”Ta det som en man” – or ”Take it like man” – is a personal portrait of society’s negative masculine norms. Telling his story with a large measure of humor, music and gravity, Hampus wants the audience to reflect on what it means being a man. We get to follow Hampus on a gripping journey – from the childhood in Värnamo, until today. The show is being heightened by several music elements, where Hampus performs his own songs like ”Be a Man” and ”Harder Faster”. The show at Way Out West will be a festival edition and something quite special.
