Tove Styrke has been bold before but never quite like this. Never like now. On her new maximalist album ‘HARD’ we find the edgy Swedish popstar completely fearless while tackling subjects like love, desire, anxiety, and sex. Her vocals are raw, sometimes barely holding together and the music follows suits. It’s unpredictable, honest and most of all: it communicates freedom. Just listen to standout tracks like the masterpiece ‘Hardcore’, the yearning ‘YouYouYou’ or ‘Millenial Blues’.

Following 2018’s amazing album ‘Sway’ surely must have felt like an overwhelming task. The album, packed with bangers such as the title track, ‘Say My Name’ and ‘On The Low’, was widely acclaimed and positioned Tove Styrke in the forefront of innovative contemporary pop. But by throwing all the rules out the window, somehow Styrke has managed to surpass any expectations. After touring with pop royalties such as Kate Perry, Lordé and Marina the time has come for Tove to take the lead. We are stoked to announce that she will be joining us at this year’s Stay Out West!
