There was no way a voice like Sabina Ddumba’s would remain in the shadows. After discovering her talent at the prestigious Tensta Gospel choir, whose alumni includes Lykke Li and Seinaboy Sey, her journey to becoming one of Sweden’s most celebrated artists has been rapid. Her first single ‘Scarred for Life’ had an immediate impact and with debut album ‘Homeward Bound’, which includes both ‘Effortless’ and ‘Not Too Young’, she cemented her position as one of our brightest and stylistically most exciting stars. Following the success Dbumba was rightfully awarded with a Grammy as well as a prize from the Swedish National Radio for Best Newcomer.

Today, Sabina Ddumba is not a newcomer anymore but a bona fide star. On her widely acclaimed sophomore effort ‘The Forgotten Ones’ (2021) she expanded her horizon by infusing her soulful pop with both afrobeat, Ugandan vibes and reggaeton and the result is, as expected, compelling. Equally strong and vulnerable, Ddumba is no longer afraid of daring self-examination and armed with this newfound power she recently shared the new track ‘LOSE YOU’. This summer Sabina Ddumba invites the crowd to share this fellowship with her and her band at Way Out West – promising an organic, honest experience that will make you dance, reflect, and feel.
