It took an exceptional talent to make the saxophone sexy again and that is just what Masego is: an exceptional talent. With his eclectic mix of jazz, trap, electronica, and the sensual version of R&B sometimes called Quiet Storm, the Jamaican-American musician and singer has written his name all over the world. Masego’s big break came with his critically embraced album ‘Lady Lady’ (2018), which also includes his phenomenal signature song ‘Tadow’, and last year he shared his new, self-titled album. Here we find the multitalented artist born Micah Davis even more assertive and unfiltered as he evolves his potent traphousejazz to even higher levels.
