The Swedish psychedelic phenomenon MaidaVale possesses an almost magical ability to captivate their audience, whether they are performing on an intimate club stage, on a beach at sunset, or at a hard rock festival. The Stockholm-based quartet laid the foundation for their unique krautrock-influenced neo-psychedelia when they met by chance on Gotland and quickly made an impact on the underground scene during the first half of the 2010s.

The band’s acclaimed debut ‘Tales of the Wicked West’ was released in 2016 and was followed by countless tours and festival performances across Europe. Two years later came the experimental ‘Madness is too Pure,’ which earned the band a nomination for P3 Guld. Now, MaidaVale is back with their third studio album, ‘Sun Dog’ – don’t miss them at Way Out West.
