If you’re looking for guitar music in the style of Pavement and Built to Spill with a modern twist, then Canadian slackers Kiwi Jr. are for you. Recently, the group released their third album entitled Chopper. The album is decidedly (yet almost secretly) anti-patio-sunscreen-Beach Boys bachelor cruise sing-a-long. Sure, these songs let a little light through the blinds, but they sting insomnia, corrupt mayors, Kennedy Curses, sex tapes, and deer rifles. In other words just about everything you want to hear music about. This Stay Out West show will be something extra – be there!
