Being both weird and accessible is as desirable as it is rare, but somehow former-Chairlift vocalist Caroline Polachek makes it seem easy. With her futuristic electro-pop Polachek has crafted some of the most electrifying songs of the last few years. Like the mysteriously contagious ‘Bunny Is A Rider’, which also happened to be named the best track of 2021 by Pitchfork, or the equally mesmerizing ‘Billions’ which together with ‘Welcome To My Islands’ all are to be included on her second album ‘Desire, I Want to Turn Into You’. From all appearances, Caroline Polachek is crafting a sphere of her very own and the next summer she will be bringing it to Way Out West!
