When the colossal talent pool of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker join forces under the moniker boygenius, a rare magic occurs. Successfully playing on each other strengths, the supergroup manages to harness their individual powers to form a truly radiant creature.  Bridgers gloomy, poetic indie-folk, Dacus clever guitar-rock and Baker’s intensely emotional music integrates in a singular output that is truly sensational. The band exploded with their self-titled EP in 2018 and despite having successful separate careers, the three friends found time to record more music. So far, boygenius has released four amazing new songs in 2023 – all of them taken from the upcoming debut album ‘the record’ that will arrive in March.
