Rumor has it that Amyl and The Sniffers wrote, rehearsed, and recorded their debut EP ‘Giddy Up’ over the course of eight hours the same day they were formed back in 2018. A testament to the feral chemistry the members of this loveable Melbourne-based punk quartet have between them. Since then, Amyl and The Sniffers have ascended from local underground fame to massive international acclaim, without losing any of the wild, chaotic energy that won them the status as one of the most exciting punk bands around in the first place. On their sophomore album ‘Comfort To Me’ (2021) – written during the forced pandemic lockdown – the band have broadened their palette, demonstrating that their success was anything but a slump. This summer, commanding singer Amy Taylor and her bandmates will bring their renowned, high-octane punk machine to Way Out West!
