Rapper 1.Cuz is from the suburb of Hässelby in Sweden and his most distinct attribute is the balaclava mask – a trademark he started wearing in the beginning of his career to distinguish between his personal and public life. The 24 year old got his big break in 2018 with his debut single “Akta mannen”, followed by a debut album which charted #1 on the official Swedish album charts. His most famous track “Försent”, known as part of the official soundtrack for the Netflix series Snabba Cash, became his first #1 single with over 65 million streams. In 2022, the rapper developed a special friendship with superstar Ed Sheeran which resulted in 1.Cuz making his own remix of the single “2 Step” from Eds latest album. The single topped the Swedish single charts and was recently certified platinum.
