If you are traveling from another city or town in Sweden or Scandinavia we recommend that you take the train to and from Gothenburg. You can find train times, routes and book tickets at www.sj.se (Swedish Railways website). For those of you traveling from outside of Scandinavia you can find travel tips here: www.goteborg.com/en/Travel.
Slottsskogen is centrally located in Gothenburg and easy to reach both by walking and public transportation. We therefore recommend festivalgoers use these means when getting around within the city.
For longer journeys in Gothenburg use the bus or tram. The nearest bus/tram stop is either Linnéplatsen or Marklansgatan.
Information and timetables can be found at www.vasttrafik.se/en or +46 (0) 771-41 43 00.
Please note that you cannot buy tickets on buses or trams. These can be purchased from newsagents such as Pressbyrån, 7-Eleven or anywhere displaying the Västtrafik sign.
