With close to a million residents Gothenburg is the second largest city in Sweden. And while it offers all the possibilities of a major metropolitan area it still manages to maintain its small city charm. Way Out West Festival is located in the heart of the city and is therefore in a prime position to enliven the already lively city center and compliment the already rich offering of culture and events. Utilizing the city’s clubs, living accommodations and easy connections we are trying to make use of the city’s existing infrastructure in a way that not only heightens the overall experience of Way Out West, but also Gothenburg as a whole.
