World Premiere of INGRID Live (Lykke Li, Peter Bjorn and John, Andrew, Christian & Pontus från Miike Snow, Jocke Åhlund och Coco Morier and more) at Way Out West!

On Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Way Out West, the music collective INGRID will, for the first time in its entirety, stand on stage together. INGRID is comprised of some of the pop world's most prolific artists including Lykke Li, Peter Bjorn and John, the members of Miike Snow, Jocke Åhlund, and Coco Morier to name a few. It's an acquaintance we dare say you'll be seeing more of.

INGRID is a music collective with its home base in Stockholm, Sweden. In a studio behind Mellqvists Kaffebar and in the old Spegelteatern on Söder, they create the music of the future. Their world premiere takes place, however, in Gothenburg at Way Out West where they will perform each other's songs and treat us all to one hell of a show. Expect nothing less than scenographical magic and be ready to experience history being created, destroyed and rebuilt again right in front of you.

We cannot think of a better finale to this year's Way Out West. Saturday Night. At the festival's biggest club. Together with you and some of Sweden's finest musical treasures. World premiere.

1-day tickets to Way Out West

We will release 1-day tickets to Way Out West 2012 tomorrow (Wednesday, July 11th) at 10:00 AM. Both adult and youth 1-day tickets for Thursday, Friday and Saturday will be available. Tickets are sold via Ticnet.se or by telephone at +46 (0) 771 70 70 70

Above you can see already confirmed days for a number of artists. A full schedule with gig times will be released soon. We will be continually updating the running order as days and times are confirmed.

Kraftwerk confirmed!

Kraftwerk is one of Way Out West's biggest bookings. There is no denying the fact. And yes, we are more than a little euphoric about it. That they will also perform their acclaimed 3D concert (stylish spectacles will be provided free of charge) confirms August 2012 to be the highlight of the year. We stand fast by this statement already now and will do so again in December when it’s time to summarize the year. Trust us.
